About IPH Foundation

IPH Foundation – formerly known as Institute of Practicing Homoeopathy (IPH), is a limited member, voluntary academic organisation founded in 2003 by Post Graduate Homoeopathic Physicians of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh.

All the members are room, class and batch-mates during their UG & PG studies. Being graduates in Homoeopathy (BHMS) from Dr. Gururaju Govt. Homoeopathic Medical college, Gudivada, Andhra Pradesh as 1983 – 92 batches - they started their career as Homoeopathic Physicians. They had also acquired Post Graduation in different options like Materia Medica, Organon & Philosophy, Repertory, Clinical Psychology, Applied Psychology, Medical Physiology, Preventive Medicine from various Universities such as Maharastra Universty of Health Sciences, Nasik, NTR University of Health Sciences, A.P. and Annamalai University, Tamilnadu, Apollo Hospital Education and Research Foundation, Hyderabad etc., while they were in their routine Homoeopathic clinical Practice itself. One of them is currently acheiving PhD from Saveetha University, Tamilnadu.

Based on the like-mindedness, they formed into an academic study group for further development of Homoeopathy – academically, professionally and ultimately it emerged / taken shape as an Institute of Practicing Homoeopathy (IPH).

The members have been continuously practicing under the guidance of their then Professor and as their Chief Advisor, Dr. C. P.SATYA PRASAD, who is a retired Professor from Dr. G. G. H. Medical College, Gudivada which in its turn, affiliated to NTR University of Health Sciences, AP. The entire team had taken special guidance also under Dr. Pavuluri Krishna Chowdary, Director, Hyderabad School of Homoeopathy affiliated to Faculty of Homoeopathy, London, during their post graduate study programme itself. Three of its members undergone Post graduate Certificate Courses also in Research Methodology of Homoeopathy (CCRM) designed by Central council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH), New Delhi and organised by Soukya foundation, Bengaluru. All the scientific / research works / results etc., are being presented under the able guidance of International speakers and Homoeopathic Researchers viz., Dr. Gadugu Srinivasulu and Dr. N. Srinivasa Rao of Hyderabad. Dr. Aravind Kothe, Ex- Chairman, Committee for Excellence in Homeopathic Education, Central Council for Homoeopathy, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India and one of the eminent Homoeopathic academician of India and currently Director, JIMS Homoeopathic Medical College, Hyderabad also has been extending his suggestions and guidance whenever the IPH urges.

Thus IPH has been working based on the 2nd recommendation of Health Report 1999 and a few other recommendations of Traditional Medicine Strategy 2014 - 2023 - published by World Health Organisation - to promote high standards in clinical practice of Homoeopathy.

As a part of their Continuous Medical Education (CME) programmes, various academic workshops, symposiums and seminars were organised successfully and to the utmost satisfaction of all the participants as under….

(9) Recently IPH has also organised a one day seminar (refresh-2018), in association with Goa Board of Indian System of Medicine and Homoeopathy, Govt. of GOA and Shri Kamaxidevi Homoeopathic Medical College, & Hospital, Shiroda, Goa in their College premises on the eve of World Homoeopathy Day celebrations on 10th April, 2018.

Now it is planning to organise many more ‘One Day seminars & workshops’ on Practice Management and Clinical Evidence, at all Homoeopathic Medical colleges in India and overseas when occasion arises.

In association with Jijnasa Research Foundation, Visakhapatnam, it has also organised various symposiums, by name JIJNASA as follows…

e) Dr. B. D. Patel of Bengaluru on Miasm – A Mystery (2015)

f) Dr. N. Srinivasa Rao of Hyderabad. Anthroposophical Medicine in Relation to Homoeopathy (2016)

IPH had associated and supported the following international events in India :

i. International Convention on World Homoeopathy Day 2016 organised by LMHI International and Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH) at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi on 10th April, 2016.

ii. International Homoeopathic Conference 2017 convened by Karnataka Qualified Homoeopathic Doctors Association (KQHDA) at NIMHANS, Bengaluru on 8th to 10th September, 2017.

Only a few of IPH members were nominated as Organising & Scientific Committee members for the above conferences.

As an academic study group, IPH had received many invitations, a rare opportunity, to attend the various state sponsored seminars and workshops organised by Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH) Central Council for Homoeopathy (CCH) and IIHP SOKYA like academic Organisations, as follows….

  • State Level Training of Trainers Programme (STOT) on National Campaign on Homoeopathy for Mother and Child Care by CCRH at JSPS Govt. Homoeopathic Medical College, Hyderabad, on 5th Oct, 2009.
  • National Workshop on Respiratory Medicine and Workshop on Research Medthodology, organised by Dept of AYUSH(KTK), NRHM in association with SOUKYA Foundation at Govt. Homoeopathic Medical College, Bengaluru, on 9th – 10th February, 2013.
  • Seminar on Recent Advances & Trends in Homoeopathic Research organised by Regional Research Institute, Gudivada of Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy, Govt. of India on 19th & 20th March , 2014.
  • Round table meeting on policy making on “Urban Health & Homoeopathy” by Foundation for Futuristic Cities, Hyderabad at Hotel Marygold, Hyderbad on 9th February, 2016,
  • LMHI President’s Indian visit on “ International Solidarity through Homoeopathy” held at Hotel Marygold, Hyderabad organised by Liga Medicorum Homoeopathic Internationalis, (LMHI) – Geneva, on 9th Feb 2016
  • National Workshop on Rheumatological Disorders organised at Regional Research Institute, Gudivada supported by CCRH, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India on 27th & 28th December, 2017.
  • It had presented different papers on various subjects as follows and they were also recognised and appreciated by the organisers as well as participants.

    2. “Recurrent Pyogenic Dermatological Conditions – Role of Homoeopathy” at IIHP State Scientific Seminar on 22nd Nov, 2015 at Eluru.

    3. “Clinical Evidence in Homoeopathy – Need of the Day” at IIHP State Scientific Seminar on 20th November, 2016 at Visakhapatnam.

    4. “The Prescription - Most Neglected Clinical Document in Homoeopathy ” at the International Convention on World Homoeopathy Day, at Vigyan Bhavan New Dehli in 2016.

    5. “Practice Management in Homoeopathy - a Post Graduate Training Module” presented at the prestigious 72nd World Homoeopathic Congress - LMHI 2017, LEIPZIG, Germany on 13th Jun, 2017.

    6. “Recurrent Pyogenic Dermatological Infections - Role of Homoeopathy” presented at the prestigious 72nd World Homoeopathic Congress - LMHI 2017, LEIPZIG, Germany on 14th Jun, 2017.

    Besides the above international recognitions, IPH members were also honoured individually for their services rendered to the Public, Patient and Professional communities in their respective regions.

    Last but not the least, IPH Foundation is very glad to bring to the notice of all its readers / users that IPH is a registered institutional member and all its members are also members of the prestigious LMHI International (Germany) - the Global organisation for international Homoeopaths representing Homeopathic physicians all over the world. It is one of the 10 members of its kind in India.
